DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Autism Awareness Month and in memory of Tubesteak Tracy\, friends and supporters of his love for special needs kids are coming together again at the 4th annual Big Kahuna Koncert (sic) for a Cause to raise money for autism and kids with special needs.This year’s benefit concert at OC Tavern in San Clemente will feature performances by Laguna Beach band Common Sense and Tone Lōc\, as well as the fine sounds of DJ Fluffy of Venice.\nThe event will take place on Saturday\, April 14 at OC Tavern\, 2369 El Camino Real\, San Clemente. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $25 pre-sale at  or $30 at the door.

DESCRIPTION:Skyloft is re-introducing the classic “date night” with its new “Fancy Friday” concept\, debuting Friday\, Feb. 9th.Perfectly situated before the mid-week Valentine’s Day\, Fancy Friday encourages couples – and yes\, of course\, groups of friends – for a night out where you can get dinner and a big show in one place.\nOn Friday\, Feb. 9th\, the Peter Jacobs band\, a 9-piece band with horn section will accompany Matt Mauser\, a spot-on performer who’s often called “the closest thing to Frank Sinatra you’ve ever seen AND heard.” Tickets for the show are just $25 online here\, or $35 at the door (if any remain). The show begins at 9:00 p.m.\nFor Frank Sinatra fans\, Matt Mauser is absolutely uncanny. The show\, Funky Frank\, incorporates true-to-form songs once crafted and branded by Ol’ Blue Eyes\, himself. Additionally\, Matt and band will be tossing in a few modern rock and R&B classics that Matt says he’s sure Sinatra would have loved singing.\nInterested in arriving early for dinner first? In addition to the regular dinner menu\, Skyloft’s Chef Arthur Ortiz will be introducing a Valentine’s Extras menu that evening as well\, which offers his own “family favorites\,” including his new Crawfritters\, an 8 oz. Filet with Tamale\, Seared Duck Breast with Poached Port Wine Pears\, and two new decadent desserts.
