DESCRIPTION:Three longtime and popular artists – Mark Jacobucci\, Mike Tauber and Anthony Salvo – are offering specific painting subjects on Saturday evenings. This is super cool (and non-intimidating fun)\, whether you choose to paint sunsets\, donuts or the Monterey coastline. These sell out very quickly\, so get on it. Here are notes on each week’s artist and subject matter that you’ll be painting and taking home with you. \nCost is $75 and includes supplies\, complimentary wine or beverage and Festival admission. Classes begin at 8:30 p.mm. and are 1.5 hours. You must be 21 years of age or older. Reservations are absolutely required. \nOn July 13\, Mark Jacobucci teaches you how to paint a Provincetown Sailboat. \nMark Jacobucci grew up on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. As a child he was prodigious at drawing and maintained a cartoon strip in a local newspaper for several years. He painted in high school and college. He attended Brandeis University earning a BA with highest honors in fine arts and then a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Massachusetts\, Amherst. Since coming to California in 1985 he has participated in the landscape planning and design of many significant communities throughout the region.

SUMMARY:Pageant of the Masters 2019
DESCRIPTION:Laguna Beach’s famed Pageant of the Masters 2019 is the only one of its kind in the world. It’s a sizable annual venture that diligently re-creates famous paintings\, sculptures and statues\, from the famous DaVinci Las Supper to Rome’s famed Trevi Fountain (yes\, live people are “plastered” from head to toe to resemble the characters in the fountain.” It’s really an extraordinary experience. \nIn its 86th year this summer of 2019\, the Pageant of the Master’s theme is “The Time Machine.” Marty McFly from “Back to the Future” and Doctor Who owe a debt to Victorian writer H.G. Wells who published his first novel\, The Time Machine\, in 1895. Wells tapped into a fascination for time travel that continues to inspire artists in every medium. \nIn the 2019 Pageant of the Masters\, “The Time Machine” will take audiences around the globe and into the past\, present and future in search of great art and amazing stories. Taking its cues from science fiction and steampunk fantasies\, “The Time Machine” will be your ticket to thrills\, laughter\, beautiful music and extraordinary living art under the stars. \nTickets range in price from $15 to $240 every night of the week from July 7th to August 31st. Go to: FOAPOM.com for tickets and more.
