The proceeds of all plant and gift sales will go to support the LBGC programs. \nThe Laguna Beach Garden Club meets on the second Friday of every month\, September through May\, at the Laguna Presbyterian Church\, 415 Forest Ave\, in Tankersley Hall. Social hour starts at 9:30 a.m. and the General Meeting at 10. The public is welcome; there is no charge for guests on their first visit. Parking is free in the Laguna Canyon Road lot (spaces 300-422) or $3 for all day in spaces 185-228. \nThe nonprofit Laguna Beach Garden Club\, Inc. was founded in 1928 in beautiful Laguna Beach and celebrated its 91st anniversary in February. DESCRIPTION:Although the location has changed over the years\, on Sunday\, Feb 9\, the Laguna Craft Guild continues an over four-decade tradition of setting up their wares for the community. The artisan group will be displaying at the Cobblestones at Main Beach from 9 a.m. until sunset.  \nThe Laguna Craft Guild was started in the early 1970s as a way for local artists and craftsmen to sell their work. It is a non-juried show with two simple rules: you live in Laguna Beach and you make what you sell. Originally Forest Avenue was closed on Sundays\, and the artists set up for the day a few times a year. Later the show was on Ocean some days and on Forest some days.  \nThe group’s current home is on the Cobblestones next to The Greeter’s Corner Restaurant on 14 Sundays a year. The artists must be present to show their work so this is a great opportunity for the public to meet the makers.

That’s the official line from Laguna Beach … now\, for the real scoop: \nThe Laguna Beach Art Walk is a great bit of strolling and trolley-ing fun throughout Laguna Beach\, all packed into just a few hours on the first Thursday of each month.\nExpect many galleries to be open throughout the City\, and expect hundreds and hundreds of milling throngs as people drop in on their favorite galleries to chat with artists in person\, grab great art at sometimes-special pricing\, sip wine and gnosh on free goodies. \nYou can also expect to see restaurants and other retail shops in on the game of it\, too\, keeping their doors open well past their usual closing hours. \nI usually head out with a few friends and we make a night of it with both walking and trolley rides. \nTROLLEY SERVICE\nFree trolley service for art walk starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 9:30 pm. Trolleys begin at the Laguna Art Museum (north) and Bluebird Canyon Road (south). The trolley route runs as far north as Viejo Street\, up Laguna Canyon Road as far as Canyon Acres\, and south to Bluebird Canyon Road. Map \nPARKING\nMetered parking is available along Coast Hwy. and a few blocks inland on either side of the street and is free after 7:00 pm. If you prefer\, you may park in the residential area located 2-3 blocks inland from Coast Hwy.
