There are a few magical spirits in this world of ours, and I know Kaj Garmshausen is one of them. Raised in Laguna Beach, Kaj has always had a kind of unsung-hero artistic skill, in both pen and ink drawings and in the beautiful wood sculptures he creates.
Each year, he creates a new series of Santa cards, toiling away for hours with a simple pen in hand. I wait, rather impatiently, for the end result as my friends, family and clients have come to love and collect Kaj’s cards. They represent something of the lovely annual Christmas spirit to me, and I adore him for these beautiful creations.
