Just a quick note this Tuesday morning to remind you that two of my favorite Tuesday restaurant happenings are back in play for the fall and winter months here in Laguna Beach.
[singlepic id=488 w=320 h=240 mode=watermark float=right]Best Taco Tuesday – The White House Restaurant – Resident Kitchen Manager Tony Sanchez is back at it, cooking up a hefty buffet of taco options and serving up his family’s super secret guacamole and multiple salsa recipes. It’s a heaping pile of goodness at a mere $1.50 a taco. No idea if Tony’s lovely daughter, Alejandra, will be the usual server this year – she’s here in the photo with him – but HOPE that she is as she’s quite the accomplished taco assembly machine. Read my full report here. Note: This Taco Tuesday is only available in the bar, so children are not allowed. So sorry. We hope to change that someday soon.
Best Happy Hour Laguna Beach – The Lumberyard Restaurant – We’re back to Tuesday night’s special, ALL wine by the glass at 50% off. When you’re a Rombauer Chaerdonnay fan like I am, this is sheer music to the ears. My full report on this fabulous find is here.
