Marriott Bonvoy has recently launched an “Eat Around Town” campaign that awards 4 points for every dollar you spend as a Marriott member, and 6 points for every dollar you spend if you’re “elite” status (Ambassador, Titanium, Platinum, Gold or Silver).
For the month of October, though, everyone participating earns 8 points per every dollar spent.
Put one or more credit cards on file through their awards program and then … go out and eat. Points also include tax and tip.
The campaign includes “Bonus Points” that allow you to earn 6,000 Marriott points during your first 60 days with Eat Around, with 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000 points being distributed for the first, second and third time you spend $30 at any establishment registered with the program. The “Frequent Diner Bonus” (for all us foodies out there) include 1,000 bonus points for every 10 qualifying dines.
Laguna Beach has just 7 restaurants participating: Thai Bros, Nirvana Grille, Carmelita’s, Laguna Feast, Avila’s El Ranchito, ZPizza and San Shi Go as soon as its doors open again (which will be very, very soon).
Dana Point offers many of my favorites, too, including Whitestone (fabulous everything), Bonjour Cafe, Chef Ryan Adams’ Parallel Pizzeria, our favorite Italian restaurant, Luciano’s, Craft House, Project Social (great burgers) and San Juan Capistrano’s renowned Ramos Cafe.
