freeThe giant Dana Point-based Octoberfest is back for another year of multiple beers, endless food experiences and lots of lively music.Beer is servers in 16 oz pint beer mugs. Your first purchase will cost you $20 and for this you will receive a commemorative beer mug and your first beer. Thereafter, refill your mug for $10. Wine will be sold by the (generous) glass for $10. Soda and water will be sold for $2.
The food booths have expanded to offer a variety of American food as well as traditional German food such as German Potatoes, Bratwurst, Beer Brats, Knockwurst, Sauerkraut, Pretzels, Goulash, Rotisserrie Chicken, Pork Chops Marinated in Beer, Coleslaw and more. Vendors sell plates at various pricing levels.
Live music will begin at the Opening Ceremony at noon and continue all the way to the Ceremonial keg being tucked in for the night at 6:30 p.m.
Free parking can be found along Niguel Rd. and Stonehill Dr. in all directions with a short walk into the event through the Stonehill Dr. gate entrance. Parking has now been made available on PCH directly alongside the park.
Free parking and free shuttle to and from the event can be found at Dana Hills High School located at 33333 Golden Lantern Rd., Dana Point, CA 92629 First shuttle starts from Dana Hills High School at 11:30am and every half hour after that. Shuttles from the event back to Dana Hills High School also run every 30 minutes starting at 12pm and ending at 7:30pm.
Paid metered parking can be found at Salt Creek Beach with a short walk through the tunnel under PCH into the venue. Valet parking can be found at the St. Regis or Ritz Carlton hotels with a short walk into the venue parking lot.
No outside food or drinks allowed. ATMs are on the premises. Dogs are allowed ONLY on leash.
