For more than 50 years, hundreds of volunteers have filled the Pageant of the Masters’ stage each year.
It doesn’t necessarily require acting, dancing or vocal skills. In fact, your greatest talent lies in your ability to stand as still as a stone for 90 seconds.
It’s a long commitment as a volunteer as you first have to have all those practices and dress rehearsals before the show goes on for at least 6 weeks. But, you sure don’t hear volunteers complaining. In fact, they line up by the thousands in hopes of being chosen for the upcoming summer’s event.
On Jan 10-12, 2020, the Pageant is hosting its annual Open Casting Call. They are expecting at least 1,200 adults and children for the tryout from all parts of LA, San Diego and Palm Springs/palm Desert. It’s also a great chance to get an insider’s scoop on this year’s upcoming theme and artwork, Made in America.
Times for the Casting Call are as follows:
- Friday, January 10 from 7 – 9pm
- Saturday, January 11 from 7 – 9pm
- Sunday, January 12 from 2 – 5pm
