Congratulations to my restaurateur/chef buddy Scott McIntosh, who’s known in this town for Boat Canyon’s successful Reunion Kitchen as well as Asada Tacos + Beer. On Monday this week, he opened his 3rd Reunion Kitchen location, this time in Santa Barbara right on the sand at the Cabrillo Pavilion at East Beach, about a mile south of the SB Pier.
The restaurant belonged to other owners and was almost finished before COVID hit. Fast forward a year and that’s how Scott found the place three months ago, just waiting for a new owner to finish it and roll with happy customers. It seems that everything Scott touches turns to gold, and I’ve no doubts he has a prosperous future ahead with the new addition to the family.
