Just when you thought the backstage at Pageant of the Masters had gone dark for the winter season, there seems to be some creepy rustling going on.
Beginning October 27th through 31st, 2023, the Monsters rise while the Masters sleep. Step into the haunted house behind the back stage doors for this year’s Pageant of the Monsters.
This year’s theme is “The Maze of the Minataur,” which creeps me out just writing about it because all I can think about is that snowy maze in the movie, The Shining. Fortunately, you don’t have any crazed novelist/ax toting bad guy chasing after you here, but I can’t promise you that the Pageant’s maze will be entirely monster-free.
While the Festival’s haunted house is designed for hearty souls 5 and older, there are plenty of family-friendly activities and workshops throughout the Pageant grounds, so bring the entire family down for some good old-fashioned spooky fun. Stay tuned here for more information as the date draws nearer.
