We all know that the hallowed Monday Night Football probably rivals the Sunday afternoon games now. On the average, about 17 million people tune in to watch, and that’s just a statistic from single televisions being turned on at home. With the Lumberyard restaurant known as “Laguna’s Football Viewing Headquarters,” we need to let ESPN know they definitely have more than 17 million viewers. This is a popular destination for “MFL” lovers, especially given the Lumberyard’s newest big screen addition, an 80-inch TV. For years now, Lumberyard Restaurant Owner Cary Redfearn has offered his already-generous happy hour to MFL viewers during the entire game. So, with happy hour normally occurring from 3:30 – 6:30, you can, in most cases, enjoy happy hour straight through till the final whistle blows, normally around 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. Further, Chef Armando offers up a Monday Night Special – his Grilled Cheese (fixed 4 of 5 different ways) with the Lumberyard’s treasured (and I mean treasured) Tomato Bisque Soup. Even if you’re not a football fan, the Monday grilled cheese special is something to break down the doors for. Check out the Monday Night Football schedule here. With weekly events almost to Christmas Day, I’m sure you’ll find at least one team to support with your buddies at the Lumberyard restaurant. It’s a great hangout with great food!
