Hanna, a Mini with a Mega Heart
Dogs Who Brunch
H.I.P. District
All I can say about Hanna, this mini Australian Shepherd visiting Laguna Beach a sunny Sunday, is that her peeps who discovered her at a pet shop within hours of her landing there are DARN lucky . . . about 3,000 of us readers of LagunaBeachBest.com would have scooped her up first.
Hanna isn’t talking, but we think she might have been Cleopatra in a former life. Her people, who live in Ladera Ranch, have committed their adult lives to rescuing dogs and, thus, rarely went in pet shops as they were so busy rescuing other dogs out there first. But Hanna has that Siren thing going on … and they felt themselves dragged into the pet shop quite unwittingly.
Initially a 3-pound ball of fluff, Hanna has grown by enormous proportions in her 5 months. She might actually weigh 8 pounds. Her eyes and her heart seem to take up most of that weight, and she has her people securely wrapped around her tiny paw.
Hanna makes regular excursions to Laguna Beach to visit the dog-friendly Laguna Beach Books, hang at the dog-friendly Laguna Coffee for a bit of latte, and patter on the beach.
