Just to ensure that your Christmas spirit remains at the “ho ho ho” level, several bartenders in Laguna Beach have created speciality holiday cocktails. It seems that everyone is in on this holiday concoction craze, so I’ve faithfully tried and tested a number of these (all in the name of my readers at LBBest.com, of course).
While the list of Holiday Martini Runner Ups is a serious contender list, I’ve got to say that Neil Skewes at Starfish Asian Cuisine has nailed “The Best Holiday Martini” prize with his original concoction, The Gingerbread Dude.
A rich and creamy mix of Goldschlager, Baileys and butterscotch liqueur, the added treat is the hand-ground gingersnap rim and the Gingerbread Dude floating in his happy pool of holiday decadence.
