If you’re in a book club or want to be in a book club, and live anywhere in the Newport Coast, Laguna or Dana Point areas, head on down to the big Book Club Christmas party at Laguna Beach Books on Sunday, Dec. 5th.

The free holiday event starts at 5:00 p.m. and serves up great wine and catered treats for you “bookies” as you mingle with like-minded peeps.
“We used to do all these different holiday theme parties here, “says owner Jane Hanauer, “And then it finally occurred to us here at the store to do a party for people who like exactly what we like! . . . makes for a more enjoyable holiday party all around!”
Book reps from Random House and W.W. Norton will be offering sneak peaks at next season’s new books, and of COURSE you’re welcome to add your two cents on your favorite reads of late. (And, may I remind you, it’s a great time to pick up book gifts, too – gift wrapping is complimentary.)
