This week, the Bungalow Restaurant, a longtime favorite for steaks and fresh fish in Newport Beach’s Corona Del Mar, has acquired The House of Big Fish & Ice Cold Beer here in Laguna Beach.
Bungalow owners Jim Walker and Louie Feinstein will be renaming the restaurant to Big Fish Tavern, and plan to keep doors open as they make updates to the interior, menus and staffing needs.
It’s their first push into Laguna Beach, but certainly not their first “rodeo.” Walker and Feinstein share more than 70 years of restaurant operation experience, and say they’re looking forward to maintaining the friendly atmosphere and unique seafood concept that the House of Big Fish initially established.
