This year, the Dana Point Harbor is electrifying the harbor with 40 nights of holiday lights called IlluminOcean. It all begins Wednesday, Nov. 26th, just in time to help you do that Thanksgiving-morph-to-Christmas.
This ocean-themed lighting attraction stretches more than one mile and features larger-than-life sea sculptures and illuminated tunnels. We’re talking 225,000 LED lights creating 40-foot blue whales, tall ships, dolphin pods, surfers and more.
Stroll dockside (don’t miss the 3D glasses for the holographics), and enjoy street performers and holiday festivities at every turn.
The IlluminOcean is sponsored by the largest Dana Point resorts – the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel, the St. Regis, Marriott Cliffs and the Doubletree. The event begins every night at sunset and is free to the public. It should prove an interesting spectacle to see!
