For this week, Nov. 6th – 12th, my pick is Rumble King on Friday, Nov. 11th at Mozambique.
Oh my gosh, have you heard these guys?! Definitely one of the most popular regional bands around, Rumble King is one amazing mix of Rock & Roll, Rock-a-billy, Jump Blues, Country and Jazz. I know, I know. Sounds like a mixed cereal bag of craziness, but these guys are as smooth as silk and as high energy as they come.
Get into Mozambique early – Rumble King starts somewhere around 8:00 or 9:00 – still trying to nail down that fact for you. And expect a cover charge – normally $10 on Friday nights. This is money very well spent.
