The Dana Point 4th of July fireworks show (2019) originates from Doheny Beach and is certainly one of the most spectacular fireworks shows in Orange County. Thousands of people converge on Doheny State Park and the Dana Point Harbor, so if you wish to be in place there, be sure to get there early! The park opens at 6:00 a.m., and entry to both park and harbor are free, but be sure to mind your parking fees as they will be in play all day and evening.

Dana Point trolleys will be connecting with Harbor trolleys all day as well. And, this year, the town has also added FREE bus service from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm to Dana Point Harbor. Bus pick-up to the harbor located on Golden Lantern, north side between Acapulco and Stonehill, with limited parking at Dana Hills High School and surrounding streets in that area.

The Park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The fireworks show begins at 8:45 a.m.Bring a personal FM radio device and listen to the patriotic music accompanying the fireworks on FM 88.5, KSBR.
Note that no fireworks or firecrackers are permitted in the park or harbor, and alcoholic drinking is prohibited.
