Fathom Events and Columbia Pictures bring the original Ghostbusters (1984) to select cinemas nationwide for a special one-day event. This 80s comedy classic tells the story of university parapsychologists Venkman (Bill Murray), Stanz (Dan Aykroyd) and Spengler (Harold Ramis) turned paranormal investigators. What they discover is that all Manhattan is being besieged by ghosts, and even worse demons, through a portal in their client Dana Barrett’s (Sigourney Weaver) Central Park West apartment building. On their mission to save New York City, the Ghostbusters encounter many more other-worldly spirits.
