Each year in March, our neighboring Ocean Institute in the Dana Point Harbor puts on a fabulous 2-day Jazz Festival. It’s the non-profit organization’s largest fundraiser of the year with proceeds benefitting OI’s Adopt-A-Class program, which bring underserved students to the Ocean Institute for hands-on immersion in whale watching, tall ships sailing, fun educational workshops and more.Friday Night Is Foodie Love
Friday night, March 1st, kicks off the event with a 5:30 p.m. VIP Reception and Artist Meet-and-Greet. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., area chefs will be showcasing foodie bites and, from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m., it’s the jazz performance with a live auction. As has proven in the past, a cadre of significantly talented chefs show up on Friday night. Tickets are $75 and VIP Experience tickets are $250, which include the exclusive reception and premier seating.
