Give the gift of LIVE love with a plant this Valentine’s Day! The Laguna Beach Garden Club (LBGC) is opening its doors to the public on Valentine’s Day to encourage new membership and showcase the organization’s efforts on behalf of the community and schools in Laguna Beach. Everyone is invited to attend this special meeting on Friday, Feb 14.

The LBGC is honored to have UCEE Master Gardeners speaking at the club’s February 14 meeting, who will also be available as a resource for attendees for gardening questions and interests.

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the club will have abundant and beautiful container plants, homemade goodies, and gifts available for purchase. The proceeds of all plant and gift sales will go to support the LBGC programs.

The Laguna Beach Garden Club meets on the second Friday of every month, September through May, at the Laguna Presbyterian Church, 415 Forest Ave, in Tankersley Hall. Social hour starts at 9:30 a.m. and the General Meeting at 10. The public is welcome; there is no charge for guests on their first visit. Parking is free in the Laguna Canyon Road lot (spaces 300-422) or $3 for all day in spaces 185-228.

The nonprofit Laguna Beach Garden Club, Inc. was founded in 1928 in beautiful Laguna Beach and celebrated its 91st anniversary in February. Its members support a wide variety of projects related to education in gardening, horticulture, landscape and floral design, conservation, ecology, and bird life.
