Whilst I was traveling this week to Canada, my beloved readers still took care of business (and that’s what I love about you folks out there). See one Laguna Beach Best (LBB) reader – Charlie – chime in on his evening at the new restaurant, Broadway by Amar Santana.

I just had the most amazing dinner tonight at the Broadway by Amar Santana, here in Laguna Beach. The restaurant does not open until Saturday September 17. Food and service was amazing. Laguna has long needed an upscale restaurant like this one. Amar is an amazing chef.
Started with Blue Cheese stuffed dates, bacon-wrapped. From there I tried Cured Japanese Hamachi, an amazing fish with three kinds of squash and Avocado Mouse … YUM. Then, I moved into the real adventurous and had the Grilled Aged Prime NY Steak. Perfect! For desert, an amazing chocolate tart.
