Friday, July 15th, 2011 – Drum at the Moon! – Join Laguna Beach’s monthly Drum Circle
[singlepic id=218 w=320 h=240 float=right]I’ve got to admit it – this is one of my favorite events in Laguna Beach ‘cause it’s just so … Laguna Beach.
I’ve written about the Laguna LaVida Full Moon Drum Circle a few times and frankly, this event is so much fun that I should be giving it ink on a monthly basis.
For a few years now, people randomly show up on the North end of Aliso Beach at about 7 p.m. They come bearing drums, chairs, blankets and firewood, and the bonfire and drumming begins.
If you don’t have a drum, you’re still invited. And, no worries – no one … shall we say … steps over the line of decency … this is just good, fun drumming under a full moon. The event ends at 10 p.m.
