This is a Dana Point event, but it STARTED in Laguna Beach and it’s quite sizable in nature!
Hobie’s 14th annual SurfSwap & Sale is this Friday through Sunday (May 23-25) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Dana Point. Normally, this is big, quite big.
Bring in your old boards and Hobie’s will do their best to move ’em out to other deserving surfers. Meanwhile, you can hunt for special finds to fill your now-empty quiver.
Longboards are preferred, 7s and above, and 10% of all sales will be donated to the Ocean Institute. If you don’t pick up any unsold boards by 5 p.m. on Sunday, consider those goners … so be sure to check in again as the last sales day wanes.
Hobie’s in Laguna Beach isn’t doing a sale, per se, but the team there is currently boxing up A LOT of boards to add to the SurfSwap inventory in Dana Point.
And a last note – Thalia Surf always has a sizeable Memorial Weekend sale, too, both in and outside the store. Check out great finds beginning Saturday, May 24th through Monday, (Memorial Day), from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Watch Facebook.com/BestofLagunaBeach for ongoing posts of sales and activities for this coming Memorial Day Weekend.
