Chris Keller, the Casa Resorts partner and magical mind behind The Rooftop, K’ya Bistro, House of Big Fish, The Marine Room and many other successful operations is at it again.
This time, he has plans for a small juice bar in the grandest location of Laguna Beach.
This week, the city’s Planning Commissioners approved Keller’s plans for an organic juice bar in Laguna Beach, Juice & Shakes. Provided everything goes according to plan these next few weeks, Juice & Shakes will take over the former Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream space right across from Main Beach next to the movie theater.
Assuredly, this is a compact 650-square-foot space at 154 S. Coast Highway, but it will likely be stuffed from its first day of operation, given the foot traffic in front of it and the planning mind behind it.
This particular juice bar in Laguna Beach will be offering 32 different types of healthy, organic juices that will each be made-to-order. An initial menu notes that combinations will include carrot-apple-ginger, carrot-beet-celery-parsley-spinach-kale-romaine, and coconut-blueberry-pear.
