A few weeks ago, I announced that Starfish Asian Cuisine in South Laguna had decided to celebrate its 4th anniversary with a big hoopla of dining, silent auctions, swag bags and more dedicated to the PMMC (Pacific Marine Mammal Center). This is awesome news as this beloved non-profit organization, originally founded in Laguna Beach, has struggled mightily with a vast number of sea lion pup rescues and rehabilitations this spring.
The folks at Starfish have put quite a party together, whose details are all here.
Suffice to say in this note, though, that you’ve got to hustle if you want to include yourself in the almighty party night as reservations are quickly filling up. Call Starfish direct at (949) 715-9200 for Thursday, June 18th.
While a portion of everything you order from the dining menu will go to PMMC, Starfish has also concocted a PMMC-specific cocktail whose entire proceeds will go to the PMMC, too!
I was lucky enough to be in on Master Bartender Neil Skewes’ innovative creations as several of his finalists competed to be the PMMC Cocktail of choice. After serious tasting tries (and we were serious about this, mind you) we decided on the neon green cocktail, naming it The Green Flash.
I know what’s in this PMMC dedicated-cocktail, but I’m not going to even hint at its finest fineries. This is for YOU to discover next Thursday night at the sold out party at Starfish.
Additionally, the silent auction is filling with quite impressive items. And, there’s even a swag beach bag stuffed with goodies … including my Best of Laguna Beach book … that you can purchase for the PMMC cause, too.
Join residents and locals alike as we celebrate the success of Starfish and the success of the Pacific Marine Mammal Center, too.
