As our streets are getting busier with happy holiday peeps, the Laguna Beach free trolleys are ramping up service, too!
Starting today, Friday, December 8, 2017, the weekend Coastal Trolley will have more stops and expanded hours.
Expanded hours for the Laguna Beach free trolley include:
Friday 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Short Coastal Route remains the same, making all stops along Coast Highway from North Laguna to 7th Avenue/Mission Hospital every 20 to 30 minutes.
What was formerly our Limited Coastal Route trolleys (with just a handful of stops) is now being referred to as the “Long Coastal Route.” It’s expanding for the holidays to also make all stops along Coast Highway from the Transit Depot (next to the Zinc Cafe & Market downtown) to The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in Dana Point. This circuit occurs approximately every 40 minutes.
If you’re riding the Short Coastal and want to continue south to The Ritz Carlton, just head over to the southbound side of Coast Highway and then hop on the Long Coastal Trolley at any bus stop north of 7th Avenue/Mission Hospital (including 7th Avenue).
The Trolley Tracker in the Visit Laguna Beach app reflects the updates, so feel free to download this free app to track your incoming trolley’s arrival!
