Truly one of the more eclectic events, in all of Laguna Beach, the monthly Full Moon Drum Circle at Aliso Beach comes compliments of Billy Fried’s LaVida Laguna adventure company.
Years ago, Billy began a drum circle at Fisherman’s Cove off of Heisler Park and it proved so popular on its very first run that they had to relocate to a much bigger beach – Aliso State Beach (or Aliso Creek to us locals).
Bring a drum, blankets, and any food for yourself or your party. (If you don’t have a drum, you’re still welcome, of course.) Bringing extra wood for the bonfire sets you out as a hero immediately.
Time: 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Location: Aliso Beach is about 3 miles south of downtown Laguna on PCH, just past the Montage Resort. The group meets at the south end. Follow your ears.
will the drum circle happen in dec? would like to bring my grand daughter, who is an awesome drummer.
what about parking at Aliso Beach? Is the lot open at night? I have a state park pass.
