In play for the LGBTQ community since 1994, the Laguna Beach Pride folks have diligently worked for years to secure historic footholds in our community. It wasn’t until 2017 that they, with city and City Council support, were able to establish the Laguna Beach LGTBQ Heritage & Culture Committee to ensure that the gay committee is honored and celebrated in Laguna Beach.

The Laguna Beach Pride Festival returns this year with flags proudly waving and all sorts of activity (even a Drag Queen Bingo Brunch). It coincides with the giant Pro Men’s Volleyball Open at Main Beach, so we’re in for a very busy weekend!
