It may be sawdust instead of snow you’re tromping around in, but there’s still no better pre-holiday event than the Laguna Beach Winter Fantasy Festival at the Sawdust Festival grounds.
This Sunday – Dec. 9th – marks the closing of this fantastic fare. Given that more than 170 Laguna Beach artists are offering all sorts of unique and one-of-a-kind gift ideas, this is a weekend you must schedule in.
Folks, this is no church craft bazarre. Whether you’re buying fine jewelry, hand-blown glass ornaments, beautifully rendered scarves, garden toadstools, bronze sculpure, Raku pottery or full-on framed original art, you have row after row and booth after booth of the finest art and creation to choose from. The Winter Fantasy can handle every person on your list, even if you’re just shopping for stocking stuffers.
As a Colorado transplant, the Winter Festival also offers a lovely throwback to all that is traditional Christmas – from the carolers to Santa’s visits to hot apple cider and live holiday jazz music (well, maybe not the jazz music for those old timey memories, but you know what I mean).
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $3 for children 6-as years of age.
