It’s such a delight to see our two newest Laguna restaurants – Centrál Coastal Peruvian and Gu Ramen Taps & Tapas – succeeding right out of the gate. Both bring new, international flavors to this town of ours, and they both get started early in the day with doors open at 11:00 a.m. for lunch.
Even better, both restaurants are offering significant Happy Hour menus, each of which runs 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. every day of the week. Folks, you need to get in on this!
At Centrál, Owner Anne Driggs is featuring their bestselling small plates in a Happy Hour configuration. Their signature Empanadas – filet mignon or spinach and mozzarella – are $5, their towering Tomato Tower (a vertical take on Caprese Salad) is just $7, and their awesome Pollo Sliders are just $8. Draft beers and secret recipe Sangrias are just $4.
Gu Ramen devotes a full side of its menu to 20 “Japanese and Thai style tapas,” and these all participate in the happy hour with reduced pricing at $2 off per plate. My favorites are still the Firecracker Shrimp, Thai Spicy Hot Wings and Buta Belly Sliders. Wash these delectables down with Happy Hour draft beers at $5, super mugs (34 ounces) are $9, house wine is $5 and house sake is $4.
There’s nothing happier than Happy Hour at two restaurants who have made their commitment to Laguna Beach. Show them your love, join their growing throngs of fans and save a few dollars, too!
