[singlepic id=365 w=320 h=240 mode=watermark float=right] Mosun Sushi, the great sushi restaurant beneath “Club M” in Central Laguna Beach has unexpectedly closed its doors.
I’ve tried calling every extension in their book … I’ve run down to see if I can catch anyone there at the place … and yes, it’s SHUT, man. This Mosun girl … she’s gone fishin’.
Disconcerting, to say the least. This has been one of Laguna Beach’s most popular nightstpots, not to mention one of the more innovative sushi restaurants in town. I just sent a couple of LagunaBeachBest.com subscribers there last week! Apologies, my dear friends, for not having more of a sixth sense.

Do you know who is taking care of the Mosun fish tank? I walked by last night (August 23) and the fish were all still floating in the tank. I do hope someone (Animal Control?) is making sure their water is fresh and the fish are being fed…Sad that everyone lost their jobs. Hope the fish find a new home.
