When this pandemic crisis began, Ivan Spiers chose to close both of his restaurants. A few weeks ago, he announced food trucks in his parking lot at Mozambique, each offering different cuisines. While the food trucks are still in place, he has also decided to re-open Mozambique and Skyloft.

Mozambique favorites are back

Mozambique is offering a limited menu but one that boasts its best-sellers, including Peri-Peri Prawns, Durban Curry and their fabulous Bread Pudding (because who’s really counting calories right now?).

Hours for either food truck or Mozambique menu at Mozambique are:
Monday, 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. for the Mexican food truck only;
Tuesday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. for food trucks and Mozambique menu;
Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for food trucks and Mozambique menu.

Pickup or chose delivery. The Mozambique menu is available through Doordash or Postmates. Mozambique is also doing delivery within Laguna beach for an $8 delivery fee.

Skyloft’s sizable menu, beer, wine and cocktails are back

Skyloft is offering a larger menu of options with popular appetizers, sandwiches, salads, fish ‘n chips and their fall-off-the-bone ribs in full or half racks. The kids’ menu is available, too, with six kid-size entrées priced at $7 each.

Skyloft is also offering a significant menu of bottled wines, beer and the entirety of its specialty cocktail list to go as well. Their hours of operation are Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am. to 8 p.m.

Pickup or chose delivery. The Skyloft menu is available through Doordash delivery as well.
