What a magnificent week it’s been . . . 14 sea lions revived from the intentional poisoning a few weeks ago, rehabilitated and released on Tuesday by the PMMC at Main Beach . . . the remaining 3 plus a new friend released on Saturday . . . and four more released today, with more than a hundred school children looking on, all of whom raised money for the PMMC to help these sea lions find their way to the ocean.

PMMC Co-Founder John Cunningham with a student who got his entire class involved in raising money for Roadway, a sea lion in distress. He was released on Sunday, happy and healthy.

There is nothing like the Pacific Marine Mammal Center anywhere in the world, and we’re so lucky to have this wonderful place in magical Laguna Beach. Thank you, thank you for all your continued support.
P.S. Reports show that most of these 14 released sea lions are STILL hanging out together, days later. Now, that’s a children’s hospital worth remembering!
