[singlepic id=569 w=320 h=240 mode=watermark float=left]Ahh, the holiday season … snow, sleet, scraping ice off your windshield and wind that tips you sideways … except in Laguna Beach.
Compared to last year’s deluge rains and flooding, Laguna Beach is sitting pretty here between Christmas and New Year’s, with gorgeous, perfect days and warm, empty sand beaches. And, while the waves in South Laguna Beach might not be rocking quite like The Balboa Wedge has seen this last week, the top pros in skimboarding are staying on top of their game.
[singlepic id=570 w=320 h=240 mode=watermark float=right]Today, I spent my late afternoon “work break” on West Street Beach nabbing a few shots of two of my pro skimboard favorites, Vic Skimboard‘s Morgan Just and Exile Skimboard’s Blair Conklin. Occasionally, these guys whine about me publishing photos “pre-wipeout,” but really? How many people in this world would even get to this point of the photo frame in the first place?
