Last Friday, I had the pleasure of meeting with Chef Camron Woods and Jim Tolbert, Director of Sales & Marketing, at The Ranch.
Despite – or maybe because of – the development issues and delays at The Ranch, these guys are immensely creative in their efforts to introduce both locals and the rest of the world to this beautifully revamped resort.
As a pre-Valentine’s Day “date,” for instance, The Ranch Chef Camron and his wife, Pastry Chef MC, will be offering a “Romance” Chef demonstration and preparation of a 3-course menu.
This is only open to SIX couples on Saturday, Feb. 6th, from 6 – 8 p.m., and is priced at $150 per couple. Because you get to eat everything as each course is completed, I’d advise also adding in wine pairings for each course at $30 per person. (Tax and gratuity not included.)

This is not a hands-on cooking class, but it comes awfully close as this married duo share specialties of the kitchen … his side of “savory” and her side of “sweet.” They will be actually teaching each other as they teach audience members on all their specific preparations and cooking.
