Carmelita’s Laguna Beach is making a killing in its new home at Broadway and PCH. Deservedly so – their extensive menu doesn’t miss a beat. It’s always better to be IN the restaurant enjoying their best-selling Grilled Pineapple Margarita, but here’s their best guess on making this masterpiece at home: 

Grilled pineapple slices, cut into quarters
1 slice fresh jalapeno, seeds removed
Muddle these two lightly together, then add:

2 ounces silver tequila
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce agave

Add to muddled ingredients and shake. 

Rim glass with Tajin Clasico Seasoning (a mix of chili pepper, sea salt and lime). Pour your Grilled Pineapple margarita over ice and enjoy!
