For years now, the owner of the renowned Laguna Nursery (on PCH between Cress St. and Mountain Road) has shepherded new and pro gardeners alike to Laguna Beach’s public and private gardens in his 2-hour tours.
But this isn’t just a tour for admiring oohs and ahhs. Ruben Flores talks through shade and sun, salt-water proximity issues, herb-lined walking paths, flowering hedges, xeriscaping and irrigating. A landscape architect by trade, Ruben knows just about every flower, tree, hedge, herb and garden bug known to this planet.
