[singlepic id=464 w=320 h=240 mode=watermark float=right]Today (Sunday), the top-ranked pro skimboarders will be battling it out for final positioning on the UST’s (United Skim Tour) final stop. Oddly … or maybe not so oddly … all 8 of the skimboard pros heading into Sunday’s semi-finals are based in Laguna Beach and Laguna Niguel, and most of them have grown up here as natives – famed brothers Sam Stinnett and Jake Stinnett (who took 1st and 2nd respectively at the summer’s opener, Victoria Skimboard’s World Championships), Morgan Just, Omar Meddeb, Brandon Sears, Brad Domke (now a practical native from Florida), Blair Conklin and Tim Fulton.

How’s that for our fabled great skim waters here in Laguna?!

Will he be able to hold on to that 1st place position he currently enjoys in the UST?
