The largest Superbowl party, though, looks to be organized by the boys at House of Big Fish & Ice Cold Beer at 540 South Coast Highway on the second level. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.
Along with 7 55-inch HD TVs, the entire restaurant is treated to Big Game Stadium Specials – $8 shrimp feasts, $5 Bloody Marys, $5 Mimosas, $3 mini nachos, $5 beer braised brats and more.
Raffles and giveaways will extend throughout the evening and include dining certificates and hotel stays at K’ya, The Rooftop, Casa del Camino hotel and the Hotel Menage in Anaheim.
On any late evening or weekend, you know that House of Big Fish is one loud and happily rowdy place to be, so don’t be expecting to actually participate in an intimate conversation this coming Superbowl Sunday. Big Fish knows how to deliver on an extensive, low-priced menu and an even more extensively stocked bar, and their Superbowl parties can be heard a block away in any direction (except when the Superbowl commercials come on which, of course, require rapt attention.)
