The ever-popular Chamber of Commerce’s “Taste of Laguna” had gotten so large that it had to find new stomping grounds for its Taste & Business Expo.
This year, you’ll find The Taste at the Festival fairgrounds (where Pageant of the Masters occurs). Delighted with their expanded space, Chamber organizers know that their hundreds of attendees will feel the same. “For years, we’ve always had the Taste & Expo on the second level parking lot of the Glenneyre structure,” said Rebecca Barber, the Chamber’s Marketing Coordinator. “It just started feeling crammed – all these great restaurants and businesses were packed in so closely together, and it was difficult for people attending The Taste to move freely to all the tents and booths.
“Now, we’re giving our guests more room to amble, and we’ve been able to expand to include even more great “tastes” of Laguna.”
Indeed! This year at the Festival of Arts grounds on Sept. 18th, the “business happy hour” event runs from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. The $45 advance ticket ($65 for VIPs) covers your entire evening of tastes at 29 restaurants, and includes wine tastings, tequila tastings and more. Purchase tickets online now.
The Business Expo has expanded, too, with 23 participants promising something “interesting” to add to the beachy canvas bag you will receive upon entry. Crowd favorite Pancho Sanchez and his Latin Band will keep the atmosphere lively, and a full cash bar will be operating in the center of the action.
Buy your advance ticket for $45 by calling the Chamber, (949) 494-1018 or purchase tickets online now. For $20 more, you can also purchase the VIP ticket, which proffers preferred parking and seating at the live music stage. Note: you must be 21 years of age or older to attend and leave your pooch at home. This is a night to celebrate all that makes business right here in Laguna Beach!
