I know it seems we’re hustling you through the month of September already, but early birds reap rewards in these ticket purchases, so I’m giving you a heads up now . . .
The 6th Annual Girls’ Night Out will likely draw more than 250 women again on Thursday, Oct. 2nd at the Rockledge estate.
Designed for a hearty gaggle of women only, the event combines great food, signature cocktails and “shopping” with a large live and silent auction event. Girls’ Night was the brainchild of board member Michelle Ray when the Club was struggling to raise funding a few years ago, and the idea took off with a bang.
Girls’ Night Out has only gotten larger with growing event support along the way. The event location is half the fun as it’s sponsored on the cliff face at the Wilson home (better known as Rockledge). This year’s theme, “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” is aptly named in honor of one of the event’s larger sponsor, Lugano Diamonds. They join longtime sponsor Newport Lexus and, together, look to add some serious dazzle to the show.
Not a bad night to be treated like a queen. The women give back in a big way, though, raising a whopping net in direct support of the Boys & Girls Club after-school programs. Tickets for Girls’ Night Out are $125 through Sept. 25th, and $150 after that Saturday date. Purchase yours online at www.bgclagunabeach.org and grab a girlfriend for a fun night.
