Ruben’s been shipping in thousands of small-pot herbs and edible flowers in preparation for his “Herb Extravganza” at the infamous Laguna Nursery this weekend in Laguna Beach. Peruse and choose from hundreds of different varieties and listen in to his free herb seminar at 10:00 a.m. each day to learn about how to use herbs as medicinal healers, culinary treats, aromatherapy and easy garden beautification.

And if you’re ready to liven up your holiday tables with great new recipes this year . . .

On Sunday, Ruben is also offering an Herb Bake at 11:00 a.m. The registration fee of $75 gets you into this educational cooking class, right there on the grounds, with recipes for Basil Lime Fiz, Cilantro Walnut Pesto Crostini, Cuban Adobe Grilled Chicken with Marinade, Herb Salad, parsley-Embossed Potatoes, Rosemary Shortbread and more, more, more.
