Just a quick note to let you know that my favorites pizza joint in Laguna Beach, Gina’s Pizza, is offering a new special – $1.99 pizza slices on Mondays and Tuesdays.

For the record, we’re not talking a flimsy, 2-inch slice of pizza. The slice that shows up at your table drapes over all sides of Gina’s sturdy paper plates – it’s a veritable feast. Add their new Caprese side salad (I tested it and approve, but fair warning – this is a HEAP of salad) or their vegetarian roasted tomato soup and you’re good to go for hours on end.

And for you families out there, take note: Gina’s is again offering its “Kids Eat Free on Wednesdays” special, and yes, they even have chicken fingers for those kids of yours who might not be into pizza or pasta.
