Himalayan festival Laguna Beach

Here’s an interesting idea for Easter weekend after your annual Easter brunch … For the first time in Southern California, the Himalayan Festival, supported by the Neighborhood Congregational Church and Tenpa Dorjee, the owner of downtown Laguna’s Tibet Handiworks, is coming to our Festival of Arts grounds.

Taking place April 19th-20th (Easter weekend), the Himalayan Festival will be offering a fun and colorful “study” into the unique and authentic Himalayan regions (Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and India), culture and tradition.

With a hope to bring people together in a festive environment and offer a platform that allows education and experience, this public event showcases various facets of Himalayan cultures, such as folk dances, traditional costumes,  authentic cuisine, art and music. The event is just $5 for adults and is free for children. Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
